The dairy distributor associated with the cartons reported no knowledge of the advertisement and was unable to produce records indicating authorization, design approval, or printing instructions for the campaign.

A review of company archives identified no invoices, contracts, or production documentation related to the placement of the image or accompanying text.

The source of the notices remains unknown.

This photograph depicts Roderick Toombs, a maintenance and custodial employee working in the Everett area at the time of Caleb Harker's disappearance.

The black-and-white portrait was recovered among personal documents during a search of the back rooms of the Everett Mall in July 1989. The photograph bears his full name and occupational designation, JANITOR, along with an embroidered identification patch reading "R. TOOMBS."

Investigators sought to establish Toombs' whereabouts following his disappearance in late June 1989. His residence was subsequently searched after attempts to locate or contact him proved unsuccessful.

The photograph was retained as part of the investigative record. Its original date and the identity of the photographer could not be established. Original photo was seen on Detective Jian's case board with a note attached next to it that read, "Where is Roderick Toombs?"

The image presented here was digitally reproduced from the recovered photographic print. Minor discoloration, surface wear, and fading are consistent with the condition of the original material.

Frame reconstructed from damaged source media.

This image was withheld from public release for thirty-six years due to unresolved anomalies involving the source recording.

Analysis confirmed the frame originated from Camera 07; however, investigators were unable to determine when, or under what circumstances, the image was recorded.

Further review produced no satisfactory explanation.

Collected from Caleb Harker’s bedroom on June 27, 1989, during a follow-up interview at the Harker residence.

Caleb’s parents advised investigators that, in the weeks preceding his disappearance, Caleb repeatedly complained that someone was watching him through his bedroom window. A neighborhood canvass produced no corroborating witnesses or evidence of trespassing.

The warrant was executed later that morning. Officers arrived at the residence at approximately 10:18 A.M. and gained access through an unsecured rear door after receiving no response.

The residence appeared to have been abandoned without warning. The refrigerator remained open, food and coffee had been left on the kitchen table, and a television was still operating in the living room.

Looping marks were documented throughout the interior. Their frequency and concentration increased beyond the kitchen, continued through the living room, and became progressively denser in the hallway leading toward the rear bedroom.

No occupant was located inside the residence.

This photograph documents the master bedroom of missing maintenance employee Roderick Toombs during a supplemental search of the residence.

The looping marks observed throughout the house reached their greatest concentration inside the bedroom. Investigators documented markings across all four walls, the ceiling, door, and window coverings. Unlike those found elsewhere in the residence, the lines within the bedroom appeared to converge toward a single area of the rear wall directly above the headboard.

The bed appeared to have been left unmade for an extended period. No indication was found that the room had been occupied since Toombs was reported missing.

Books, loose photographs, writing materials, and personal effects were found scattered across the floor. A stool and painting materials remained along the left wall. A floor lamp was found overturned near the right side of the bed.

Dark handprints were documented on the bedding. Their origin could not be immediately determined.

At the time this photograph was taken, the whereabouts of Roderick Toombs remained unknown.
